PLUG BORROWER
Now as you have learnt by now, Asha loves to steal and hide almost anything that she can get her paws on, in fact, the kitchen sink plug went missing so much that in the end, mum and dad hid it under the sink in the cupboard.
However, yesterday, mum decided that Asha had probably forgotten all about it, and decided to put it back in its proper place - in the sink. I laughed to myself, ‘cos I know what a little minx Asha is, and sure enough, in no more than half an hour, she had appeared and stolen the plug yet again.
Fortunately, mum had the camera to hand and you can see where Asha has thrown the plug, on the floor, then, pauses for a moment, before deciding her escape route, then, picking the plug up by the little piece in the middle, in her mouth, (she looked like a baby with a dummy!), you can see her dashing off. Well, I was not going to hang about and be involved in such behaviour, so before she had chance, I beat a hasty retreat, with Asha dashing to follow me, before she landed her ‘plug dummy’ in our bed with her usual ‘wasn’t me mum - it was Tyson expression.

THE POTATO BORROWER
When mum walked into the office a few days ago, she noticed a greyish looking object down by her chair. At first she was wary of getting too close - was it alive? and could it suddenly bite? She grabbed Asha and I and moved us to the bedroom for safety. Then, all alone, she very cautiously approached this unknown lump, only to discover upon further investigation, that it was a raw potato, which must have grown little legs, jumped out of the pan, from the day before, and run upstairs, then finally probably exhausted by it all, had fallen asleep on the carpet.
Of course, there could be another explanation, this clever potato may have had some help from a blue eyed Bengal. Mum whom for this adventure, shall be known as Mrs Marple decided to set a trap to see if she could catch Asha in action. Mum peeled the potatoes, and left them in the pan of cold water, ready for cooking later.
Hours went by, and nothing happened, I think Mrs Marple was beginning to believe that the mystery potato really did grow legs! Anyway, as time passed, mum forgot all about it. That is, until dad came home, and enquired why there was a potato in the middle of the bed. How sneaky was that???
But alas, this was still not proof that Asha was the culprit, it could still be that another potato had grown legs and was perhaps looking for his friend. I have to admit that the wet paw marks across the worktop were a bit of a clue, coupled with water splashed all over the place, but dear Mrs Marple wanted strong evidence. (not so she could tell her off, she simply wanted a cute picture of Asha in action for my blog).
Well her patience paid off, and here is Asha, caught in the act, with her new potato toy on the bedroom carpet. Bless her!!!
THE 'BORROWER'
Over Easter, I have been busy gathering photos of Asha helping herself to things that amuse her. I think to say she steals things is too harsh, she is merely curious, and showing the typical mischievous ways displayed my most of our breed. I have therefore decided to call her ‘The borrower’.
My next few blogs will give examples of this borrowing behaviour, and I feel fellow bengals, that you will agree, I am very lucky, and happy to share my home with her as she is such a funny, cheerful little girl. She makes everyone laugh, and there is never a dull moment, we are never quite sure what she is going to get up to next.
Here is the first example …..enjoy

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE
Just wanted to say Happy Easter to all that read my blog. I really appreciate you taking the time to read my adventures and my views, and truly hope that you are enjoying it. I feel sure that there is much more to come.
Sadly Asha and I are not allowed Easter Eggs, but have been promised extra Bengal treats, so I am happy with that.

FROWN FOR THE CAMERA !!!
This picture was of me trying to have a bath, and then having a camera ‘shoved’ in my face. Well, sometimes I don’t mind piccys but at this time I was not in the mood. Observe the disgust on my face, not to mention the dribble of water on my chin, as I batted the camera away with my paw.
Truly, these humans have got to learn their limits. I love them to pieces, but it would be wrong of me to let them take pictures “willy nilly”, as every Bengal picture is, in my opinion, an honour to own. However, I must say “what wonderful whiskers I have”.

GIZZY TO THE RESCUE
More about Gizzy. I think that by now, you know that I have a ‘soft spot’ for this canine. She is truly very caring and loving, and I consider her to be a true friend, and last night she proved just how much love she has for her new Bengal housemates.
Recently, Asha and I have found a new place to explore - on top of the kitchen wall units. Its great fun to be so high up, knowing that our dogs cannot possibly achieve such heights. All they can do is look up to us, as we look down on them ha ha!
Well, yesterday evening, whilst I was having a sleep upstairs, Asha decided to ‘go it alone’ and leapt to the top of the units. This was fine, as she has worked out how to get down again, due to my training. When she first did it mum grabbed a chair and rescued her, but has since learnt that little blue eyes is quite capable of getting down on her own - even though sometimes she comes down too quickly, lands and skids across the worktops, and ends up on the floor!
However, my little girl decided, on this occasion, to try and attempt a different route, and decided to do a balancing act on the kitchen door. Well, what a mistake that turned out to be, and yes, she fell to the floor, and landed on her side, not on her feet. She let out a small Bengal Ouch!! And within a split second, Gizzy picked her up, (like a mum Bengal picks up her kitten - by the scruff of her neck), and very gently carried her to Kyes’ beanbag, upon which he was laying at the time. Well normally, because Kye is such a baby, he would have jumped a mile, but he seemed to understand that Asha had been brought there as it was a soft and comfy place to be and he just stayed there and helped Gizzy to lick little Asha, to check that all was okay.Mum and Dad missed the whole thing, and due to my snooze, so did I, but Amy watched in amazement, in fact was quite tearful at what my canine friend had done for our little Snow Kitty.
I guess that this is a true confirmation that our dogs and Asha and I are united, and will always look out for each other. When you consider the size of Gizzy’s teeth, (which is why I am showing you her photo) and the gentleness that she displayed when picking up Asha in her mouth. Yep, I can see you all now, tears in your eyes as you read this, my latest blog. I have to agree that it was obviously quite emotional here at the time, a true example and a lesson taught, that my doggy girl will always look out for us, and even when I sleep, she will still take care of my little Asha.

MAGIC DUST
As you know, Asha and I eat with our dogs - it’s a bonding thing! We have our own continued supply of biscuits upstairs, but enjoy a little meat treat every day with the canines, whom I feel sure are honoured at our presence.
Yesterday, Asha and I had a little more meat than usual and didn’t totally finish it. Hence, I could see Gizzy viewing our ‘left overs’ and I decided that I should cover them, just in case Asha and I decided to return and finish our dish later. I worked hard on covering our dish with my paw, scraping on the floor, trying desperately to hide this from Gizzy. There was no earth to cover with, as the flooring in our kitchen is ceramic tiles, but, I was not to be defeated and continued for several minutes to cover our food with magic dust.
Sadly, it didn’t work, and Gizzy got stuck in, the moment my back was turned. Anyway, it was worth a try!
As you can see from the second photo, I also apply magic dust at bath time, in order to prevent Asha dashing off with the plug and hiding it - that didn’t work either!

THREE DUCKS AND A BENGAL!!
You may recall earlier in my blog, I mentioned my ducks, and showed you a photo of my game with them in the kitchen sink. Well, Asha, who is actually much more water mad than I, jumped in the bath with the ducks (little show off). I would never attempt this action as I am the mature one. She continued to play for over an hour little wet paw prints all over the place. I am surprised that mum has let her near the bathroom since she wrecked it a while back, but mum is a very forgiving sort. You can see what a great time Asha was having, and how wet her paws are as she retreats to clean them on the shelf.

TAILS OF THE UNEXPECTED
Resting at the top of our cat tree, spread out lazily and with the warm sun shining on me, through the window, I was totally relaxed. One paw outstretched, my tail hanging down, and my mind in the world of Bengal dreams. Everything was just purrrrfect, until Asha decided that my tail was just too tempting to be left alone.
Now, I wouldn’t have minded her playing with it, she quite often gently bats it with her paws, and that’s fine. However, she actually gripped it with her teeth, and hung on, now suspended in mid air. Being big and strong, I was not hurt, just shocked at being taken, at extremely short notice, from such a pleasing environment, in order that Asha could try and convert me into a bungee jumping cord! Mum grabbed her, still dangling in mid air, still attached to my tail by her mouth, obviously very aware that I was now her life line if she wished to avoid dropping to the floor.
I think she is so envious of my wonderful long tail, compared to her little tail, she was hoping to pull it off. Obviously she will have a nice long tail like mine when she is
grown up, then I can have some fun, and she can witness what its like when I do it back.
The photo is evidence of a previous attack as obviously, mum had no time to take pictures when I was a bungee due to having to rescue my little blue eyed girl, and my wonderful tail.

WHAT SHARP TEETH YOU HAVE - ALL THE BETTER TO EAT MY TREATS WITH!!!
I can almost hear you all saying awwwwww what a sweet little girl - hmmmmm as if butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth. Well, don’t be fooled, this little snow really pushed her luck this time …
As with all Bengals, we love our treats. One of our favourites comes in a packet made of thick foil and the contents are little cubes of natural fish and we are usually allowed to have two or three a day. They are delicious, and the moment we hear the rattle of the bag, we are instantly there, and never need calling. Mum keeps them in a drawer in the office normally, but on this occasion, she left them on the desk as there was someone at the door. She shut the office door, (she always keeps this closed because there are loads of wires and other exciting items in there which we would be tempted to play with if given the opportunity).
She was away for about ten minutes, and upon her return, she noticed that Asha was missing. She realised that when she had rushed to the door, she had shut Asha in the office. Well, in just this short time, Asha the Magpie, had become a hamster. She had chewed her way through the heavy foil, and eaten ALL our lovely fish treats. All that remained were a few crumbs, and I think that was only because she was so full up, she couldn’t eat anymore. She looked like the Pillsbury Doe Boy!
Mum kept a very close eye on her for the rest of the day, we were convinced that she would be sick, but the greedy little madam wasn’t going to waste these tasty morsels. Even I was surprised that she managed to chew through the foil, and at such speed. Needless to say, that the treats will not be left out under any circumstances in the future and anyone at the front door will just have to wait. Yet another example of 'Never underestimate the actions of us wonderful Bengals'

KITTEN COUNTDOWN
This is the start of my kitten countdown. Our new arrival snow kitten is now coming earlier than expected. The humans are having a get together at the Zawadi household on the 27th December and mum and dad are collecting Asha on that day. Yippee, cant wait, what a shame that I am unable to give her a copy of my STEP RULES in order that she can tame the humans before even arriving at her new home.
Nevermind, I am prepared to take some time explaining and training her as she obviously is not going to have a clue without my experienced help. BLESS !
I dont feel jealous nor any bad feeling towards her at the moment. In fact I am looking forward to her playing with me out in our cat run. Thing is ... they built it for me and I refuse to be left alone, hence when they put me in there I meow so loudly that I am back indoors with them in a maximum of 5 minutes ha ha. I would probably be prepared to stay longer if she is in there playing with me, but thereagain, time will tell and that will be for me to decide.

MY NEW ZAWADI GIRL ASHA

Thought I would show you a couple of piccys of little Asha just to give you a TASTE of what is to come. Asha is a Zawadi Snow Bengal Girl, and she is going to be living with me very soon. Rumour has it that she is a little scamp and extremely good looking with a huge personality. Have to say she looks quite cute, n I love her markings, what do you think !!????She is arriving on the 2nd January when my owned humans go and collect her. She will come with her own Zawadi mouse which all Zawadi kittens receive. It is a little present from Connie and Stewart. Good job actually, cos I am not sharing mine with her!!!
CHRISTMAS WISH LIST
Christmas is coming and I thought I would make a few suggestions for you to place on your Santa List. Firstly, as you are fully aware, all us Bengals love water, that is one of many things that makes us special. Every Bengal should have its own Duck for bathing. Here is a picture of me hooking my cheeky duck out of MY bath. Apart from this very important item, I love pingpong balls but my stupid dogs keep chewing them up !! However, my trained humans have started to realise that my favourite items would be a ball of silver paper to chase, or even just a screwed up envelope. All these expensive fancy toys are in my opinion designed for humans and I simply cant be bothered to play with any of them. What do you think ?
Memories....
moving to my new home
After 13 weeks of top quality pampering, I decided that I would agree to adopt a pair of humans from a place called Sussex. Being an intelligent moggy, I knew that it would take me little or no time to ensure that I would continue to live in the luxury style to which I had become accustomed, and of course deserve. It was simple, I just had to train my new humans that I would NEVER be fobbed off with second best.
Hence my journey began, and for any of you bengals out there that are a bit nieve, this is what I wold suggest you do when starting your journey to your new home.
STEP 1 When placed in your cat carrier ready for the journey ahead - enter calmly (as if you are the most well mannered kitten in the universe)
STEP 2 About 15 minutes from the start of your journey to your new world, start to meow (not too loudly, just enough to worry the humans) At this stage mine stopped within three minutes and dashed to pacify me.
STEP 3 Appear to be satisfied with their concerns following a huge big fuss and then lay down, in your carrier, head facing towards them with that (poor little me look). It gets them every time ha ha.
By now you have passed the I own my humans test and from now on, YOU will be the one in charge.
I then decided that I was quite exhausted from my acting, and it was time for a sleep. So I curled up and allowed them peace and quiet for the duration of our journey.
Upon my arrival, I was escorted to my humans bedroom, where I found food and water and the same cat litter which I had been used to. Hmmm they are obviously trying very hard to 'help me adjust'. I was then left to have some chill out time for which I was grateful as it had been a long journey and I really was not in the mood to start exploring straight away.
Anyway, long story short, I awoke and decided to go walkabouts. I made my way down the stairs, turned the corner and ......What on earth was that ??? (thought I as I wandered cautiously down the stairs).
It was much larger than me, had a huge hairy body, big ears and a great big mouth ................ No, it was not the big bad wolf, but hey .... I had never seen anything like this before and yet I could not show fear as I had my Bengal reputation to think about. Hence, I decided to go down a different passage. Well .... unbelieveable cos what did I see - another huge animal, not at all like me, but without a tail and very tall. It glared at me and I decided that this was just too much for my first day and retreated to the bedroom.
That night I guess I have to admit it seemed strange without my brothers and sisters and mum, but there again, my new humans gave me loads of love and strokes and I nearly choked on all the purring I was doing. Then, the female human whom I had then learnt was called Maggie, scooped me up in her arms and snuggled me into their bed. The male human called Steve, gave me my little mouse nip toy that my Swindon home had given me, and we all curled up for the night and went to sleep.
Tomorrow, I thought, I will discover more about those big creatures that live downstairs. After all, they have to learn respect if they wish to continue living in my house.
who are these hairy creatures with big ears???
Here I am, next day, off to explore those two big ugly things that glared at me. Mum Maggie has carried me cautiously into the kitchen where these two beasts appear to live. Dad Steve is pretending to be calm as he awaits in anticipation to see the outcome of this meeting. Me, well, I decided to leap on the worktops cos they would then be beneath me (which is of course where they belong). They approached and I spat and bashed the furry one with my paw extended on her head. She stepped back, and I waited to see what was to follow. Then these two huge great dishes appeared with food in and a further small dish for me. All three of us were now on the kitchen floor facing our dishes and I watched as the other two got stuck in and decided that I was curious what these creatures eat. I approached the short coated one, (which i have learnt since is a doberman) and to my glee, he backed away from his dish and allowed me to savour his dog food. (hmmm another example of BENGAL POWER). Then, I moved to the hairy ones dish, (she is a German Shephard apparently). She too allowed me to try her dish of the day and we actually swapped dishes for a while, though I have to say, I find my diet a lot more appetising.
It was then that I realised I had become part of the dog pack, total acceptance, and from now on I would totally run the whole household at just 13 weeks old. Not bad eh?
We have become great friends and I exercise my dogs daily by setting them chores like, games of cops and robbers, (which of course I win each time as they are totally incapable of jumping to safety on the worktops) They are also useless when it comes to climbing up my cat trees. Poor feeble creatures, however, I am very patient with them and do my best to look after them every single day.

MY TWO DOG FRIENDS
BED TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just take a look at this bed. What on earth were my humans thinking. They spent loads on this and I am expected to sleep on it. Well.... I dont think so. I prefer my place in the middle of their bed and I am staying put. I wonder if Asha would like it. Hmmmm. time will tell, and I will let you know but as far as I am concerned, as you can see from the picture, I am out of there. When will humans realise, we are the Rulers of the Earth, and to expect me to sleep on this pile of whatever ... I dont think so.
